The evacuation alerts and orders for the Birken area have been rescinded. We are therefore pleased to announce that BWE will be open tomorrow and that the regular bus service will resume. Our thoughts remain with those families whose properties remain under alerts and orders. Thank you to our staff, students, and families for their support and understanding over the past few days.

For everyone's safety, Blackwater Creek Elementary School remains closed and school bus transportation in the affected area north of Blackwater Creek Elementary school remains suspended.

In response to continuing weather concerns and in an abundance of caution, we have closed Blackwater Creek Elementary School today, December 1st. We have temporarily suspended school bus transportation in the affected area north of Blackwater Creek Elementary school.

National Day for Truth and Reconciliation - Thursday, September 30th, 2021

Grade 5 and 8 students are invited to complete the MDI during class time between January 11th and March 5th, 2021.
